The viola da gamba enjoyed great popularity in England and France from the late 16th to the 18th century. The instrument continues to touch our emotions with its highly expressive language. This dialogue between two viols is an invitation to discover this Golden Age, with a collection of works by Morley, Hume, East, Locke, Simpson, Couperin, Sainte-Colombe, Marais, Boismortier and Caix d'Herveloix.
