Le concert vocal russe au XVIIIe siècle
Masterpieces of Russian music, superbly served by a homogeneous choir, clear sound and religious fervour. Russian composers travelling to Italy became acquainted with different musical styles and freed themselves from the strict tradition of the Orthodox church. Their choral settings of liturgical texts found huge favour with the public.
