Jesús Martín Moro
Orgue
Jesús Martín Moro first studied at Valladolid Conservatory. In 1982, he was admitted to Xavier Darasse’s organ class at Toulouse Conservatory where he also attended Jan Willem Jansen’s organ and continuo classes. He graduated in several disciplines, notably organ (1985), and was awarded the French teaching certificate (Certificat d’Aptitude) in 1988.
Appointed organist in Saint Jean de Luz in 1987, he has taught organ at the Pamplona (Navarra) conservatory, later in Angoulême and (since 1993) in Pau. In parallel, he pursues a career as soloist in Europe and Mexico and gives master classes in France, Italy and Spain. Equally interested in historical and modern organs, he is involved in several projects, in particular in the Basque Country, such as the building of instruments in St. Etienne de Baïgorry or Urrugne.
