Annabelle Brey
Violoncelle
Annabelle Brey began her studies at the Conservatory in St. Maur prior to entering the class of Jean-Marie Gamard at the National Conservatory in Paris where she benefitted from instruction by Maurice Bourgue in chamber music. After receiving her diploma she had the opportunity of playing in the Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine as first-chair cellist for two years, as well as a member of the cello section of the Paris Opera Orchestra.
In order to become better acquainted with the Baroque repertory, she has studied with David Simpson at the Regional Conservatory of Paris. She plays with early music ensembles (Les Musiciens du Louvre, Les Nouveaux Caractères, La Chambre Philharmonique, Les Paladins, the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique).
