Philippe Guilhon-Herbert

Philippe Guilhon-Herbert, an all-round artist with an eclectic career, studied with Michel Béroff, Denis Pascal and Jean-Claude Pennetier and graduated with first prizes in piano, ensemble playing and accompaniment. He is an active recitalist as well as chamber musician, in the traditional repertoire and premieres of contemporary pieces. He interpreted Chopin’s two concertos and participated in creating works by Jonathan Harvey, Michael Levinas and Karol Beffa, with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lyon Opera Orchestra and the Suisse romande Orchestra. Major appearances: amphitheatre of the Paris Bastille Opéra, UNESCO (Paris), Salle Cortot (Paris), Mozarteum (Salzburg), Hochschule der Kunst (Berlin).
