Bruno Robilliard

Born in Antibes (1963) in a musical family. At age 14, he was admitted to the Paris Conservatoire SupeÅLrieur where he studied with Germaine Mounier (piano) and Genevie`ve Joy-Dutilleux (chamber music). After graduating, he was appointed accompanist at the Lyon Conservatoire Supérieur in 1984, collaborating with violin teachers J. Ghestem, V. Renold, P. Csaba, E. Balmas and flute teacher Maxence Larrieu, with whom he also performed regularly in concert. Bruno Robilliard taught chamber music at the City of Lyon Conservatory and accompanied M. Larrieu’s flute class at the Geneva Conservatory for several years. In 1994, he was appointed professor of sight-reading at the Lyon Conservatoire Supérieur. As a performer, Bruno Robilliard has played with the Tokyo National Orchestra, the Lyon Opera orchestra under the direction of Kent Nagano and David Robertson, and with the Grame contemporary and electroacoustic music research group. He has been invited to play at various festivals: Pollenca, Festival de l’Orne, Vieux Lyon, Radio-France, Montpellier. He collaborates regularly with both the Debussy and the Ravel String Quartets, with flutist Bruno Grossi, violinist Marie Annick Nicolas, singer Jean-Baptiste Dumora and conductors Pascal Verrot, Mark Foster, Claude Bardon, Philippe Fournier, Stephen Asbury…
