An avid contemporary music enthusiast, Géraldine Dutroncy works with numerous composers: Tristan Murail in New-York, Pierre Strauch, Pierre Boulez, Hans Peter Kyburz whose Danse Aveugle she performs as well as the premiere of double points: + at the Autumn Festival of the Centre Pompidou in 2005. From the encounter with Betsy Jolas in 2007 was born a series of concerts devoted to her piano work: ‘With B for Sonata […], Géraldine Dutroncy offers a quarter hour of pure poetry, bringing into play all the registers of the piano and of expression without the slightest concession to facility’ (Simon Corley, Concertonet, 2008).
Alongside her activities as a recitalist, Géraldine Dutroncy joins forces with several orchestral ensembles: Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre de Picardie, Orchestre National de Montpellier, Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France, Accentus, and with numerous contemporary music groups such as the Ensemble Fa, Ensemble TM+, Ensemble XXI, L’Itinéraire, the Ensemble Plural in Madrid, the Ensemble Court-Circuit, the Klangforum Wien and above all the Ensemble Intercontemporain with which she has made prestigious concert tours, amongst them to the United Kingdom where she played Les Noces by Igor Stravinsky under the direction of Pierre Boulez at the Royal Albert Hall of London and in Edimburg, in 2004.
