Sonia Sempéré

Soprano

Sonia Sempéré earned unanimous gold medals in voice and chamber music at the Conservatory of Tarbes, as a student of Guy Chauvet and Michel Philippe, both from the Paris Opera.
She benefited from the council of R. Massard, M. Alcantarra, G. Bacquier and L. Bond Perry, has performed solo parts in numerous works (Stabat mater by Pergolesi, Dixit Dominus by Händel, Magnificat, passions and cantates de Bach, Petite messe solennelle by Rossini, etc.) and participates in several festivals in France and abroad. She appeared with the Henri Duparc Ensemble in the context of the World Exhibition in Lisbon as a first part of the recital by Placido Domingo. Also very interested and deeply involved in the teaching of singing, holder of a Diplôme d’État (Government Diploma) in vocal technique and singing, she is a teacher at the Philippe Gaubert Conservatory in Cahors.
